Ladies Auxillary

The Harris Chapel Ladies Auxillary extends  the ministries of the church in doing ministry locally and beyond our community.  The Ladies Auxillary supports our Trunk or Treat, Thanksgiving baskets, Children's Home, as well as other ministries and outreaches of the church.  There is a place for all interested ladies  in conducting this important ministries.

Texarkana Baptist Children's Home

Texarkana Baptist Children's Home is a ministry supported by ABA churches across the Ark-La-Tex.

"It is the mission of Texarkana Baptist Children's Home to provide a safe and adequate home for orphaned, abandoned and abused children: to facilitate the fulfillment of their spiritual, physical, educational and emotional needs; to lead them to Christ Jesus and His salvation; to help prepare them to become independent and contributory in God's work and in general society."

Missions

Harris Chapel Missionary Baptist Church supports missions efforts of a number of ABA Missions effort:

State Missions through the MBA of Texas, American Baptist Association Interstate Missions, ABA  Foreign Missions,   Northeast Texas Missions Council and supports the Texas Baptist Institute.

Third Sunday Lunch

With rare exception, Harris Chapel, reserves the third Sunday to have lunch together in the pavilion.  Harris Chapel values relationships with each other.  Loving people is not just a byline, but is the diligent pursuit of HCMBC.   On the next 3rd Sunday.  Plan on staying for lunch and be our guest.  If you like it come back and bring a dish and join in......

Prayer Minsitry

One of the most profound ministries we get to be a part of at Harris Chapel is the prayer ministry.  As a part of our regular Sunday night service we break into small groups and pray by name for each and every person, need, or concern on the list.  We invite  you to come be a part of this ministry.
