Worship
Expressing love for God is the objective of worship at Harris Chapel. We seek to express our love for the Lord in our singing, in our praying and in our listening as we open His word.
Sunday Morning Worship is at 11:00 AM each Sunday.
Sunday Evening Services are on the 1st, 2nd, and 4th Sunday of each month at 6:00 PM.
Sunday School
We take Bible Study and Fellowship seriously in our Sunday School classes. We study God's Word together diligently so we may know Him better. Likewise, our Bible Study is done together, as we grow in relationship to each others as fellow pilgrims in the journey to Christ-likeness. We have classes for all ages and invite you and your family to join us in this pursuit.
Sunday School is at 10 AM every Sunday.
AWANA
On Sunday nights during the school year, we have AWANA for kids. AWANA stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed. AWANA is for children ages Kindergarten through 8th grade. Kids learn Bible Verses, songs, Bible stories, crafts and enjoy games and delicious snacks. AWANA meets at 5:30 PM on Sundays during the school year.

Love God, Love People
Two key passages from Jesus teachings frame everything about Harris Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. When asked what was the greatest command in scripture, Jesus replied, . "'You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.' This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets." Matthew 22:37-40 (NKJV) . This passage along with Jesus' last statement before His ascension,
"All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Matthew 28:18-20 (NKJV) guide all we do as a church.
Harris Chapel Missionary Baptist Church is a family of growing believers striving to grow into the likeness of Jesus Christ and to influence others to do the same. We express love for God in worship and by loving each other, loving our community, all as an expression of love for God.
